The Canalside Heritage Centre opened at the end of June 2017, and is doing well, we are looking for people who can continue to deliver excellent customer service, and give all of our visitors a warm and friendly welcome. 

The former Weir Cottages at Beeston Lock have been given a new lease of life as a heritage centre that will attract, inform and educate people about the heritage of this set of buildings, the canal they served and the beauty of the surrounding region. 

This job is an exciting opportunity to support your local community, and help the heritage centre continue to grow and develop. The successful candidates will be joining a fabulous team of passionate and enthusiastic staff and volunteers. The Canalside Heritage Centre is keen to hear from you if you are a people person, with a flair for customer services, good at multi-tasking and working in a busy, physically demanding role.

A 0 hours contract with an expectation of working between 1 and 5 shifts a week, including working weekends and the occasional evening. The rota is worked out collaboratively and at least a month in advance. 

We are now looking for dynamic, sales focused, and people orientated person to serve our visitors, making drinks, waiting tables and ensuring the smooth running of our tearoom.
