We are looking for a part time Education and Community Engagement Officer

The Education & Community Engagement Officer - is a part time senior position working 2.5 days per week. Working in association with the Operations Manager, the post will focus on delivering the projects HLF funded ‘Activity Plan’, which includes developing educational packages offered to primary, secondary, tertiary and further learning establishments. A key part of the job will be the development and delivery of outreach programmes targeted at the local community, particularly those groups who have not yet accessed Beeston Lock or this important local heritage asset. The post holder will also be responsible for developing training programmes for volunteers, as well as addressing areas where they will be able to contribute towards assisting in all other aspects of the CHC operation.

The successful candidate will be educated with a relevant degree and/or teaching qualifications, with experience of education provision in a school, college, gallery or museum context. For further details and a role profile please contact the Visitor Operations Manager on
